EEC Lincolne Scott were appointed by the Fitness First Company to carry the design and documentation of all the Mechanical, Electrical, Communications, Fire Protection and Sanitary systems for their state of the art-health club.
The 3,400 sq.m. of area house the most up to date health exercise machines and gym equipment available in the world.
Specialist Lighting and Audio Visual equipment installed, create an environment of calmness and inspire motivation which makes these venues extremely popular with the health conscious population.
The logistics of incorporating this tenant within an existing high rise building provided a considerable challenge for the extreme demands of the M&E systems not normally required with usual tenancy fit outs.
Air Conditioning, hot water consumption and waste treatment required innovative engineering to allow the proper functioning of the Club, within the constraints of the buildings base engineering systems while keeping the costs within the feasibility budgets.
The result has proven very successful with all systems performing satisfactory even at the most demanding of peak periods.
